4th of July - Picnic at the Park

We were able to get together with some of the Beggers for some food and fun in the Wibaux Park on the 4th.

BBQ at the Daws

Jeff & Ali invited us out to a BBQ at Ali's parent's...Brad & Ginnie Daws. They have a beautiful place and we had a great time. It's so fun to watch the kids interact at this age.

I didn't get may pics, but I'm hoping to snag a few so stay tuned. :)

Soakin up Some Sun

It was such a nice day that after our hike we decided to come home and play out in the yard. We filled up our luxury pool and Ben had a blast...and I think Dad did too. :)

Helpin Dad fill up the pool. The water out of the hose was a tad too cold so we borrowed a few scoops from the hot tub.

Dad even got his trunks on for a 'dip' in the pool.

So a few weeks ago Ben decided he wanted to taste an earth worm...I was a little late on the draw and he got about half of it down. His Great Aunt Sue sent Ben some gummy worms as a 'worm alternative'....and they're a hit....thanks Sue!

I put out a blanket to lay and relax in the sun...and look who beat me too it.

M Hike

We got up and decided to go for a hike to the 'M' before it got too hot...it was a perfect morning! We got a new pack for Ben and he wasn't thrilled about getting in it, but once we got truckin he thought it was alright. He had fun telling Dad to 'GO!'
