FYI - The Circus isn't for 1-Year Olds

So there was a 'circus' in town and Nick and I got off work a little early and met up with Ali, Brady and Lez (visiting from San Fran) to take the boys. If you're wondering why I have no pictures to post, it's because it turned into an event none of us really cared to capture. :) We're not sure where this circus came from, but it was a sketchy knock-off of what you would think of a circus being. Brady was mad at us for waking him up from his nap to go, and Ben wanted nothing to do with sitting in the bleechers (gave us a heads up of how the football season may go!). As elephants were walking by, Ben was more concerned with a dog tied up behind the tents. The highlight was probably the blue snow cone. Lesson learned: a trip to Dairy Queen and sitting out in the back yard playing with the dogs trumps the circus...at least for a 17 month old!
