Fairmont

We got out of town a few days over Memorial weekend and met up with Bryce, Lez, Jane & Blake at Fairmont Hot Springs.  The weather was your typical Memorial blues, but that didn't stop us from getting plenty of swimming in...boys even golfed 18 (Jane & Ben escorted), and lots of 'hang time.'

Zach tootin around in his boat.

Playing some pool hoops.

This is what lots of swimming will do to a guy.

Jane is very sweet with her little sis.

The much anticipated waterslide.  The kids kept talking about going on the waterslide with a hint of nerves, but then again, so did Bryce.  So finally we took the plunge...this is Bryce & Jane's first shot out.  Poor Jane...her dad had no mercy on her...well ok, maybe he had a hard enough time controlling/saving himself so Jane had to fend for herself.

Bryce - take note of how easy Nick takes his first run with Ben?

Bryce's second go with Jane.  Needless to say Jane had enough waterslide action.  Good one Dad...you may have scarred her for life.

Even Zach went down.

Ben & Dad's second round...feeling it bit more risky.

Ben may have faced the waterslide holding back tears the first time, but then you couldn't keep him off of it.

Since Jane no longer wanted to go, I was brave enough to let Bryce go with Zach after he promised to hang on to him.  Yes Bryce, you hung on, but so tight that you took him under with you.  Let's just say when they were done Zach looked at his Dad and said 'I wanna go with you.'  Bryce - please practice your waterslide technique several more times before subjecting Blake to your shinanigans.

Zach loved it!

Since I didn't actually get a picture of the full slide...here's the site...it's a pretty big slide for a little guy!

Snow cones after a little night swimming.

Tucked in watching some Sandlot...the boys new favorite!  Ben can already quote several lines...even Zach asks to watch the 'play ball like a girl' movie.  :)

The deflating process.
