DISNEYLAND

I experienced DisneyLand only once before...when I as 22.  This time around was a whole new experience...there is nothing like experiencing it through a child's eyes!

First night we ate dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.

This was our first clue that meeting the characters wasn't going to be Courtney's favorite thing about Disney.

The best we could do for a picture with her favorite Minnie.

First ride at Disney...Nick took boys on Splash Mountain.  You can't really see him, but Zach is sitting in the back beside Nick, Ben is just in front.  Zach was a little wide-eyed when he got off.  I'm sure he was wondering if that's what all the rides were going to be like...and no, he didn't want to revisit Splash Mountain.  Ben didn't even really want to, although I talked him into going with me again later.

Sometimes these 2 had to be good sports about waiting patiently for Ben and Dad to go on the bigger rides.

Waiting in line was definitely the hardest part...for everyone.

Some of the tunnels...and animations...got a little creepy for Courtney.

Disney Day 2...California Adventure and first up was Cars Land!

These are some pics Nick took with his phone inside the ride.

Flo's Diner.

They weren't sure about going on the Mickey ferris wheel...and just when we talked everyone into it, they had to shut the ride down for the night show.  Boo

The boys had baseball shirts on so Woody was messin with them.

These were the moments that I treasured the most!

Day 3 Disney was back to DisneyLand.

We used our Magic Morning Pass and got into the park at 7:00 am (an hour before public opening)...early morning, but well worth it!!

We figured the best approach with Bubba was to take him on the bigger rides first thing in the day while he was too excited to say no.  Again, not the biggest fan of Space Mountain (he's by Nick, right behind Ben), but he did it!

Tea Cups... once it got going I'm not sure it was anyone's favorite!

It's a Small World...

Finally...off to find the main man.

Sis was fine as long as she was on the opposite side as Mickey.

Inside Mickey's house.

One of our favorites...the Go Coaster right by Mickey's house.

Nick caught Ben & I coming out (last row).

The Winnie the Pooh ride...another favorite...at lease of Courtney,
Zach & me.  :)

Inside Pooh ride...

I loved the ages of taking them this year...Ben was venturing toward the bigger rides, but still a good sport about doing the littler ones with little brother and sister too.  Zach had probably the purest innocent excitement about everything.  And my Courtney, she was a trooper and went along for the ride...loved the characters from a distance, but not up close.

 Zach's favorite...the Buzz Lightyear ride!

Dad & Ben capped it off with where they started.  Ben took a liking to the bigger rides by the end...the only one we couldn't talk him into was the big roller coaster at California Adventure (and we never ventured to the Tower of Terror there either.)

Night parade through Disney...
Monsters, Inc.

Someone has sleepy eyes.

THEE Goofy

Mixture of I don't wanna leave, and I'm exhausted.

Some nights Courtney would fall asleep in her stroller and we would just unclip the seat part and take her on the bus that way back to the hotel.

Heading home.

A vacation we'll never forget!
