Halloween Super Hero Style

For Ben, the hardest part of Halloween this year was deciding which super hero to be...after several options we finally stuck with...


BATMAN...he had the stance down and everything...maybe because it's similar to the football stance??


Our little Superman was having a little rough go of it. He had a little cold and wasn't sure about getting bundled up and stuffed into a costume.

This was about the best we could do for posing.

We met up with our friends Wesley & Bella again this year for treak or treating. It's always fun to go with a group and Ben & Wesley are good little buds. And yes...you can see Superman was still not having it.

Ben knew the ropes...our biggest reminder for him was you don't actually need to go into the houses and make yourself at home. :) Zach followed along and caught on to the whole bit...and realized this gig wasn't half bad!

We also met up with Cass the salsa dancer and little Emery the cow.

Ben insisted on pushing Emery a bit...you know, he is 5 months older so kinda the big kid.

Was ready to ditch the wagon...just not quite as fast as the rest of the pack.

Ben handing out candy once we got home. I think he enjoys this just as much as the actual trick or treating. He always commented on everyone's costumes and made sure he knew what everyone was dressed up as. :)

Dad got to spend his birthday just the way he wanted...football football and more football...followed by prime rib and pumpkin cheesecake. :)

Tailgate Junkies

We bundled up and headed in for the Cat game...it would've been perfect football weather, but the wind was a bit overkill. We still got a little tailgate action in.

We kind of wonder from tailgate to tailgate this year, but we always have fun catching up over at the Weedin stop!

Brrrr! I don't know if Zach was sure this tailgating business was fun or not.

At the first home game this year, Zach & I weren't there yet, but I snagged this picture off of Ali's blog...here are some of the kids we get to see and hang out with throughout Bobcat football season of tailgating. Quite the little Cat Crew!

Zach was watching every carefully trying to figure out what Ben was doing and if he really wanted to help.



He did dig in and try it, but that was about the extent. Ben had to do most of the dirty work.

And at this point I think Dad was doing the work and the other two were supervising...

...loudly...

No idea...

I let Ben paint a couple this year too and was very impressed we actually got a face and not pumpkin masacre.

I have a feeling it's going to be some time until I get a 'normal' picture of these two. Oh well...something about their goofy smiles that I can't resist. :)

Pumpkin Patch

We ran out to Rocky Creek Farms to check out the pumpkin patch this year and get out and enjoy the Fall.

Ben was excited we ran into his preschool buddy Benjamin out there so they got to hang out and have some fun.

These two have really hit it off at preschool and it's fun watching Ben gain new buddies.

Looks like a good seat.
