Fairmont

We got out of town a few days over Memorial weekend and met up with Bryce, Lez, Jane & Blake at Fairmont Hot Springs.  The weather was your typical Memorial blues, but that didn't stop us from getting plenty of swimming in...boys even golfed 18 (Jane & Ben escorted), and lots of 'hang time.'

Zach tootin around in his boat.

Playing some pool hoops.

This is what lots of swimming will do to a guy.

Jane is very sweet with her little sis.

The much anticipated waterslide.  The kids kept talking about going on the waterslide with a hint of nerves, but then again, so did Bryce.  So finally we took the plunge...this is Bryce & Jane's first shot out.  Poor Jane...her dad had no mercy on her...well ok, maybe he had a hard enough time controlling/saving himself so Jane had to fend for herself.

Bryce - take note of how easy Nick takes his first run with Ben?

Bryce's second go with Jane.  Needless to say Jane had enough waterslide action.  Good one Dad...you may have scarred her for life.

Even Zach went down.

Ben & Dad's second round...feeling it bit more risky.

Ben may have faced the waterslide holding back tears the first time, but then you couldn't keep him off of it.

Since Jane no longer wanted to go, I was brave enough to let Bryce go with Zach after he promised to hang on to him.  Yes Bryce, you hung on, but so tight that you took him under with you.  Let's just say when they were done Zach looked at his Dad and said 'I wanna go with you.'  Bryce - please practice your waterslide technique several more times before subjecting Blake to your shinanigans.

Zach loved it!

Since I didn't actually get a picture of the full slide...here's the site...it's a pretty big slide for a little guy!

Snow cones after a little night swimming.

Tucked in watching some Sandlot...the boys new favorite!  Ben can already quote several lines...even Zach asks to watch the 'play ball like a girl' movie.  :)

The deflating process.

Great Gramma & Grampa Barthel

My cousin Andrew graduated from MSU so my mom hitched a ride up with Tim & MaryAlice and my Gramma & Grampa Barthel.  My mom & grandparents stayed with us...it was fun having them...the boys loved 'entertaining'.

Surrounded by Grammas...what could be better.

Great Grampa & Ben on the iPad.  :)

Teaching Gramma how to spell.  :)

My Gramma 'loves' getting her picture taken...thanks for humoring me Gramma!

Zach & Maliyah

Daycare was closed one day so I decided to take the day off to play with Zach and we invited our little friend Maliyah over for the day too (she goes to daycare with Zach).

Having breakfast

Maliyah was a little unsure, but Zach did his best to show her a good time.  :)

She loved singing karokee!

Lunch...something told me about halfway through that maybe Melissa didn't just let her have a 'free for all' with her food.  And she made sure and pick the Bobcat bib since her parents are Grizzlies.

Bobcat Triangle Classic - Mini Camp

Nick took Ben to Great Falls to go to the Bobcat Triangle Classic scrimmage and they held as little mini-football camp beforehand...Ben loved it (almost as much as dad :).

A little instruction from McGee can't hurt.

Ben turn around and listen when Coach Ash is talking!

Girls AZ

I was able to sneak away for a long weekend for a little fun in the sun and much needed catch-up time with some of my oldest (not just because they are all actually older than I am :) pals.

Kara escaped the blizards of northesastern MTfor a few days.

Of all the places to live Kasey...AZ is a great pick...even though you had to staycation.

And Tori from her mansion in the woods north of Seattle.

Doesn't everyone play Jenga at the bar?

Pretty smooth Zinda...you talk a big game...

mmm....are you sure...

ooohhh...look who lost.

Right in the comfort of the Mosley resort.

Getting pampered before hitting the racetrack (horses, not these 2... although we did take in a pilates class the first morning...anytime you vacation with Tori there's no sitting around.)

Kasey let me borrow her sweet hat...must've been lucky cause I was the big winner of the day.
